The distortion is eliminated in this TV’s CineMotion mode by restoring the original film sequence, eliminating the
3:2 pulldown originally used for timing (see Figure 2-5). Each TV frame contains the same picture so the movie
is clearer. The time difference between film and TV video is compensated for by digitally storing and displaying
the movie frames for a longer period.

Alternate Video / Audio - Refer to Figure 2-1 for a sample menu page. If this feature in the DTV transmission is
available, the user can select a second video or audio stream for a different camera angle or second language.
Screen Modes Menu
Refer to Figure 2-6 for a sample Screen Mode menu.
Wide Mode - you can alter the 4:3 picture you are watching into:
Wide Zoom – The sides of a 4:3 picture are stretched while the top
and bottom are condensed.
Normal – No change to the 4:3 picture.
Full – The 4:3 picture is just stretched horizontally.
Zoom – The 4:3 picture is enlarged to maintain aspect ratio.
4:3 Default - Allows the TV to enter one of the above Wide Modes when you change stations. If “OFF” is
selected, the 4:3 picture will remain in the size selected by Wide Mode.
