roubleshooting

Clearing Jams

Clear media jams according to the guidance message displayed on
the LCD.

A guidance message appears on the LCD.

Open the pressure roller up/down lever and rear cover.

Remove the jammed media, check that there are no

obstacles in the carriage path and the media transport

path, and close the rear cover.

The carriage will move to its home position.

Set the media according to “Installing Media Roll in the

Printer and Removing the Media Roll from the Printer”.

(See page 2-12.)
