Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for the development of your user pro-
gram if you want to control the FM 353:

You must have installed the software on the PG/PC as per Section 5.1.
The block libraries containing the basic functions are stored in the following

directories by default:

Blocks of the “FMSTSV_L” library:

[STEP7 directory]\S7LIBS\FMSTSV_L

Blocks of the “FM353_354” library (also for PROFINET, upon request):

The link from PG/PC to the S7 CPU must be established (see Figure 4-1).
