Do not connect or disconnect equipment unless power has been removed or
the area is known to be non-hazardous.

The symbol at right may appear on a circuit board or other
electronic assembly to indicate that special handling precautions
are needed.

A properly grounded conductive wrist strap must be worn
whenever an electronics module or circuit board is handled or
touched. A service kit with a wrist strap and static dissipative
mat is available from Siemens (PN15545-110). Equivalent kits
are available from both mail order and local electronic supply
companies.
•
Electronic assemblies must be stored in anti-static protective
bags when not installed in equipment.
