Because of the MTA design some parameters must be set manually.

Encoder supply

The

Encoder supply via module

boxes for both

Supply group Vs1/Vs3

and

Supply group Vs2/Vs4

must

NOT

be checked because the sensor does not use

the VS from the module as a power supply. As a result some diagnostic tests are

unavailable. See Section 8.8,

IO Module Restrictions

for detailed information.

Other options

All other options should be set to user preferences.
Figure 13– shows the module set for Standard operation, VS1/VS3 Encoder supply

NOT checked, and Channel 0, 12 activated.
