Information on the licenses that apply to the software supplied with the product
In addition to the hardware the RTW SurroundControl series products also include a software package
for which a variety of licenses apply:
16 | Licenses
A. Software produced by RTW GmbH & Co.KG, which may
only be used for the proper operation of the product as
described in the documentation (application, DSP pro-
grams, boot loader). This software is the property of RTW
GmbH & Co.KG and is protected by German and internati-
onal copyrights.
B. Third-party software (the Qt library from Nokia Corporati-
on), which is linked with the software described under A,
and which also may only be used for the proper operation
of the product. Qt® is a registered trademark of Nokia
Corporation of Finland.
C. Open source software, released under the GPL (General
Public License) of the Free Software Foundation (FSF):
1. Linux Kernel 2.4.19
2. TinyLogin 1.4
3. sl811 USB Host Driver (by Cypress)
4. Apache web server 1.3.6
5. Busy Box 1.10
The original English version of the GPL is included in the
next paragraph or on http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.
html. Only the original English version is legally binding,
however.
Some changes have been made to the open-source
software packages 1 - 5 listed above. On request you can
have the source code of the altered software sent to you
within three years of purchasing the product.
