SurroundControl 31900/31960 Series
Please proceed as follows to assign a wave fi le intro to the Surround Ident (BLITS) or the Stereo Ident sequence:
6. The network interface is opened in the web browser
and the Software update screen is displayed. Select the
BLITS ident intro upload
or the
Stereo ident intro
upload
option.
7. The
BLITS intro upload
resp.
Stereo intro upload
screen is displayed. Please read the instructions on this
page carefully.
8. Select
the
Browse
button, search for your wave intro fi le
and select it.
9. When your selection is displayed in the text fi eld beside
the
Browse
button you can start the upload by pressing
the
Upload BLITS ident intro
resp.
Upload Stereo
ident intro
button.
10. Restart your unit after the upload is done.
1. Produce a 8 bit mono wave fi le with 500 KB maximum of
size, containing e. g. your broadcast station identifi cation
sound. Store this fi le on a computer with web browser and
network connection.
2. Press
MENU
. The unit changes to menu mode.
3. Select
the
Communication and Time
menu tab. The
Glo-
bal Communication and Time Settings
menu is shown.
4. Read
the
IP address
of your SurroundControl unit. You
can keep the menu page opened.
5. Open the web browser on your computer and enter the IP
address.
Please proceed as follows to activate the wave fi le intro for the use with the Surround Ident (BLITS) or Stereo Ident
sequence
1. Press
MENU
to enter menu mode.
2. Select
the
Generator and Surround Ident Settings
menu tab. The
Generator and Surround Ident Settings
menu is shown.
3. Check
the
Enable
option in the
Surround Ident
area or
check the
Enable
option in the
Stereo Ident
area.
4. Check
the
Wave fi le intro
option in the
Surround Ident
area or check the
Wave fi le intro
option in the
Stereo
Ident
area. The loaded wave fi le is labelled right beside
this chechbox.
5. Open
the
Format
combo box in the
Surround Ident
resp.
Stereo Ident
area.
6. Select the option you need (e. g.
BLITS 5.1
for Surround
Ident).
7. If an offset is needed for the digital or analog outputs, use
the
Digital offset
or
Analog offset
list boxes in the
Sur-
round Ident
resp.
Stereo Ident
area and enter a value
between -12 and +12 dB.
8. Select
the
Save & Exit
button to save the setup and to
leave the menu. The dialog box
Save Global Settings?
is
shown.
9. Select
the
Save & Exit
button again to store the changes
and to return to normal operation. With each sequence
played out, your wave fi le is distributed as an intro.
