Moving bar indicator (PSI - Phantom Source
Indicator ) shows position and width of the
phantom sound source between the L and
LSR channels
Total Program Volume (TVI - Total Volume
Indicator ). The aera enclosed by the lines is a
measure for the total volume level, the sprea-
ding across the four quadrants is an image
of the balance of the sound characteristics.
The correlation level
r is shown by the shape
of the lines (and additional by the color of
the PSIs):
•
a distinctive roof:
r from +1 to +0.25 (PSI: green),
• a straight line:
r from +0.25 to –0.25 (PSI: yellow),
• a funnel:
r from –0.25 to –1 (PSI: red).
