SurroundControl 31900/31960 Series
• Color
Assignment
This key is used to select the color mode for the LRA
bargraph. In
Individual
mode, an individual color can be
assigned to each of the three LRA bar sections (low ran-
ge, comfort zone, high range). In
Swap
mode, the whole
LRA bar changes its color when the measured LRA value
exceeds the limits for the bargraph sections entered with
the
LRA low range
and
Comfort Zone
parameters.

• Grid
color
This button displays the color selector for changing the
LRA grid color.

Label/scale/numeric font color
This button displays the color selector for changing the
label, scale and numeric font colors of the LRA bargraph.

LRA low range color
This button displays the color selector for changing the
LRA low range color.

Comfort Zone color
This button displays the color selector for changing the
LRA Comfort Zone color.
•
LRA high range color
This button displays the color selector for changing the
LRA high range color.
• Numerical
enabled
This check box is used to activate or deactivate the nume-
rical LRA display.
• Close
This button closes the page and returns you to the
Loud-
ness Settings
menu page from where you entered the
LRA Group
menu.
• LRA
enabled
This checkbox is used to activate or deactivate the
LRA
instrument display.

Scale Range
This combo box is used to select the spread of the
LRA
instrument scale.

• Mode
This combo box is used to select one of four modes
available for the
LRA
instrument. The
LRA Bar
mode
displays the LRA measurement on a bargraph meter with
the zero value at the bottom. The
MagicLRA
mode uses a
scale with a fi xed centered zero position (corresponding to
the target level) where the LRA bar spreads symmetrically
from the
0
position and it‘s length is a measure for the
absolute LRA value.
Ma I
mode is a combination
of
LRA
and
Integrated
(
I
) loudness measurements. The
LRA bar has a moving, relative zero position that is ancho-
red to the
Integrated
value measured. The
Ma
I + Num
mode adds a numerical display of the measured
LRA value inserted to the LRA bargraph.

LRA Low Range
This parameter is used to select the spread of the LRA
bar‘s low (center) range.
Options: 1 to 20 LU in steps of 1 LU. The default is
2 LU

• Comfort
Zone
This key is used to select the spread of the LRA bar‘s
Comfort Zone. Please note that the Comfort Zone will only
be visible if this value exceeds the value entered for the
low range (see above).
Options: 1 to 20 LU in steps of 1 LU. The default is
4 LU
.
