Pick–up Solenoid: Tray 2
Switches on when the tray 2 (middle tray) lift motor switches
on. This solenoid lowers the pick–up roller of tray 3.

Separation Roller Solenoid:
Tray 2
When tray 2 (middle tray) is selected as the paper source, this
solenoid energizes and brings the separation roller in contact
with the feed roller until the leading edge of the sheet feeds to
the paper feed sensor.

Switches on when the tray 3 (bottom tray) lift motor switches
on. This solenoid lowers the pick–up roller of tray 3.
