User Manual

Responder Firmware Versions and Updates

Firmware is the software that runs inside your Responders and Receiver. The
firmware on your Renaissance Responders serves three purposes:

• The firmware version that you select tells the Responders what functions and

features you want on the Responder.

• Occasionally, you may get firmware updates through your AccelTest software.

You can update the firmware on your Responders when you get new versions
through AccelTest software updates.

• If you are using a 1.xx version of the Responder firmware, you can switch

between the even and odd versions of the firmware to switch between a small
and large font.

There are three sets of firmware versions on your Responders:
