Sicherheitshinweise
1. The system SmarTrax MD has to be inspected by an official
recognised expert after the installation especially regarding the
following issues:
a) Clearance around operating levers and switches acc. to
80/720/EEC, annex I, section I.3, I.4 and I.6
as wells as acc. to
§ 30 StVZO, guideline 8, section 6
b) Visibility of the driver
2008/2/EC, annex I, section 2.1
as wells as acc. to
§ 35b(2) StVZO, guideline 1 and 11
c) Covering of required control lamps acc. to
2009/61/EC
as wells as acc. to
§ 49a – 53d StVZO
2. Before driving on public roads
a) the mechanical drive unit must be disengaged and removed from
the steering column,
b) the ring gear must be covered by the protection device and
c) the monitor must be mounted outside of the required visibilty of the
driver. /
