Examination of the Safety Functions /

The SmarTrax MD will be disengaged under the following conditions:

1.

The mechnical drive unit will be switched off with the master switch.
The controller SmarTrax MD Node and the monitor Cruizer II
Console are still active.

2.

The vehicle speed will exceed 45 kph.

3.

If the driver’s seat will be left (if a driver presence sensor is installed).

4.

If the steering wheel will be turned.

5.

Breakdown of the electric energy supply / the battery.

6.

If the ignition will be switched off.

7.

If the GPS signal will be lost longer than 5 sec.

If the SmarTrax MD will be disengaged automatically caused by one of the
above mentioned reasons a single warning tone sounds and a failure mes-
sage will be displayed on the monitor. /
