Instrument Setup and Calibration

Ensure that 200 µl tips are available in at least one Tip
Rack Holder.
1. Select “Options/Robot Setup/Calibrate plate positions”.
2. The “Set Alignment” dialog box will appear.
Plate Selection Lists the plates that are located on the
instrument worktable.
X-position
Indicates the position of the pipetting head
on the X-axis. During calibration, the
objective is to set this to match the center
position of the calibration well.
Y-position Indicates the position of the pipetting head
on the Y-axis. During calibration, the
objective is to set this to match the center
position of the calibration well.
Save
Saves the current X- and Y-positions as the
calibration location for the plate.
Revert to saved Restores the X- and Y-positions from the
most recently saved values.
Raise tip
Raises the tip.
Lower tip Lowers the tip.
Home Z Axis Raises the pipetting head to the top
(home) position.
