with a wood or fiberglass model!

Small cosmetic damage is simple to
repair with scrap pieces of
polycarbonate. That is why it is good to
retain your scraps. Below is a wing tip
being repaired with what the Navy would
call a “scab patch”. CA in place, add
glue drop rivets, paint and it will look just
like the Navy did it.

Over time, with such repairs, your model
will take on the appearance of a well
worn trainer – just as the Turbo Mentor
is – can you get more scale than that?
