5. Trim the bottom skin’s aft edge to
maximize the useable material as
shown. This edge will later be
overlapped by the bottom aft skin.

6. Cut the sides of the bottom skin as
shown. These edges will be overlapped
by the fuse side and aft side skins.

7. The bottom skin will fit over the fuse
bottom closely as you move the skin
towards the wing saddle.

When its fit becomes snug, it is in the
proper place. Mark, then cut, the skin’s
LE at the wing saddle. This edge will
get overlapped by the belly pan skin.
Draw lines on the fuse marking the
trimmed skin’s outline – this helps in
locating where to spread the adhesive.

8. Remove the skin’s protective film
from its mating surface. Apply adhesive
as shown, then spread evenly out to the
fuse corners. Once you apply the skin
and rub it down you can use CA to help
keep the skin’s sides firmly against the
fuse sides.
