Warranties, Service Agreements and
Related Products
9.1 Warranty
Upon purchase of the Maxprep™ Liquid Handler, the instrument will be covered by a one-year
Standard Warranty. The Standard Warranty covers all parts and labor. After the warranty period
is over, the customer can continue to receive the same comprehensive service and support
from Promega as when the system was under warranty by purchasing one of the Warranty and
Service Agreement options listed in Section 9.2.
9.2 Warranty and Service Agreement Options
Instrument damage due to customer neglect or negligence are not covered by Warranties
or Service Agreements. Channel replacement due to instrument crashes are not covered by
Warranties or Service Agreements.
Maxprep™ Liquid Handler Premier Warranty Upgrade (Cat.# SA1391)
The Premier Warranty Upgrade includes all parts, labor and on-site service visits by a factory-
trained service technician within 2 business days (where available). Additionally, it includes
one annual on-site Preventive Maintenance visit by a service technician. Additional Preventive
Maintenance visits are available separately.
Maxprep™ Liquid Handler Standard Service Agreement (Cat.# SA1392)
The Standard Service Agreement covers all parts, labor and on-site visits. The system will
be repaired and returned to original factory specifications. Preventive Maintenance visits are
available separately.
Maxprep™ Liquid Handler Premier Service Agreement (Cat.# SA1393)
The Premier Service Agreement includes all parts, labor and on-site visits. The system will be
repaired and returned to original factory specifications. A service technician will be on-site within
2 business days for repairs. Additionally, it includes one annual on-site Preventive Maintenance
visit by a service technician. Additional Preventive Maintenance visits are available separately.
