User Accounts (continued)
8. Under the Other people heading, click the user account you wish to remove to open options
for that user (Figure 56).

access the ability to remove an account.
9. Click the
Remove
button to open the ‘Delete account and data?’ screen. There will be an
indication that removing a user account will remove all of the user account data from the
PC. Click
Delete account and data
to remove the selected account or
Cancel
to retain
the account and return to the ‘Accounts’ screen.
Note:
Removing a Windows
®
user account will only remove data in Windows
®
for this user
account; it will not affect any of the data generated by this user in the Maxprep™ Liquid
Handler software.
10. If you clicked
Delete account and data
, you have now removed a local Windows
®
user
account from Windows
®
10 and that account should no longer show up in the list of
accounts shown under the Other people heading on the ‘Accounts’ screen. Click the
X
in
the upper right corner of the ‘Accounts’ screen to close the screen.
