Operating the Maxprep™ Liquid Handler
5.5 Reports
Running a method results in the creation of a local report of sample tracking and run-specific
information. Reports will be automatically exported to an administrator-defined drive location if
Auto Export functionality has been enabled (see Section 4.3, Administrator Settings).
Local reports provide a mechanism for viewing information about method runs on a per method
basis. These reports can be accessed by selecting the
Results
button on the Maxprep™
‘Home’ screen.
A local report is generated after completion of a method run (Figure 39). Included in the local
report are sample tracking information, the final status of the method (Completed or Aborted),
the time the method was started, the length of time the method took to process, the operator ID
and the Maxprep™ Liquid Handler details (software version, firmware version, instrument name,
serial number, etc.). A second tab on the report displays the method-specific variable settings
that were used for this method.

for printing or exporting report information.
Use the buttons on the left side of the ‘Report View’ screen to:

reports using a printer that can be accessed by the PC.
•
Export
reports in tab-delimited text file format as well as Microsoft Excel
®
format and PDF
format depending on administrator settings (Figure 40).
