3.6. VARIABLE Setting Mode
In addition to the means for setting the frame rate and resolution described in sections
3.2. and 3.3., respectively, the APX RS system offers an additional feature of
VARIABLE Setting Mode which makes it possible for the user to set up, and save the
setup data for subsequent use, the recording parameters – frame rate and resolution
plus the image window position – as a combined set. You can select any frame rate
from the 72 different rates shown in subsection 6.1.4. The image resolution, or the
image window size, can be set from 128 x 16 pixels, minimum, up to the full resolution
of 1024 x 1024 pixels as far as the frame rate permits.
3.6.1. Setting from Frame Rate
This subsection describes how to set framing parameters based on the frame rate.
1. Press the MENU key on the keypad. The menu is displayed on the screen as
shown to the right.
2. Use the U-D cursor keys to go to [VARIABLE] in the menu and press the ENTER
key to select.
3. Use the U-D and L-R keys to go to [FRAME
RATE]. Press the ENTER key to select it.
4. A list of frame rates is shown in the left-hand
side of the screen.
5. Use the U-D keys to go to the frame rate that
you wish to set the system to. Press the
ENTER key to select it.
