3.17. Direct Trigger Mode
The Direct Trigger Mode is a new mode of triggering that has been newly added to the
system. With the conventional triggering, the camera must be set in the READY mode
by pressing the READY button before being given a trigger to start a recording. With
the new Direct Trigger mode selected from the menu, a recording can be started
without pressing the READY button on the keypad to set the camera in the READY
mode, which simplifies the framing operation.
How to use the Direct Trigger mode:
1.
Press the MENU button on the keypad to display the menu list.
2.
Use the up-down and left-right keys to move the cursor to
RECORDING TYPE
and
press the
ENTER
key to select the menu item.
3.
Select
DIRECT TRIG
with the cursor, rather than
READY AND TRIG
as shown
below, and press the
ENTER
key. The system is now ready to record events in the
Direct Trigger mode.
