Any of the following functions that are not
available with on-the-fly marking are configured.
• Link control with external image checkers
• Overwriting interval
• Skip marking of 2D code (module marking
order)
• Autofocus (LP-ZV series only)
• Defocusing (LP-ZV series only)
When the trigger mode is set to Marking at
regular intervals or Multiple triggers, those
functions are also not available.
• Registered characters via I/O
• External offset (via I/O and SEO command)
• Characters specified by SIN command
• Counter reset at date change
• To use on-the-fly marking, delete these functions
from the marking file.
• Some functions are available when Trigger mode
of the on-the-fly settings is set to Single trigger.

available with the seamless loop setting are
configured.
• Multiple objects
• Object consisting of unclosed line(s)
• Point radiation object
• Step & repeat function
• Deactivate the seamless loop in the laser settings.
• If you want to radiate laser continuously without
any break, set the closed line by setting the start
and end points in the same position.

The graphic object contains an invalid setting.
• Reduce the graphic size. The graphic width or
height should be less than 999.999 mm.
• If the “Graphic presets” is off, set on for “Adjustment
of size and filling” in the graphic object settings and
specify the graphic parameters in the “Marking
settings” screen.

The workpiece displacement exceeds the
permissible range.
• Check if the workpiece is in the proper position
when detecting the displacement.
• To avoid the measurement of the unintended height,
specify “Upper limit of workpiece displacement
[mm]” and “Lower limit of workpiece displacement
[mm]” in File settings according to the height of your
workpiece.
• When you use the autofocus function with an
external sensor: Check if the detecting position of
the workpiece surface and the marking surface are
consistent.

Unable to detect the workpiece displacement.
• Check if the displacement sensor can detect the
height without problem.
• Check if the displacement sensor operates without
error.
• Check if the trigger of the displacement sensor is
input when the workpiece is in the correct position.

The marking data is at an invalid position.
Check the 3D settings and move the marking data on
the 3D model to the position where the laser beam
can emit.
