Output signal operation on the I/O terminal block
ンㄆㄇㄆㄓㄆㄏㄆ
• The ON/OFF listed in this section refers to the ON/OFF operations. It does not refer to the voltage level (High/Low).
No.
Name and description
Y1
0V OUT: Internal power (power supply for input/output) 0V
Power to operate the laser marker independently.
Y1 and X3 are the common terminal connected internally.
ワㄐㄕㄊㄆ
• Make sure to use X1 or Y3 for the internal power 0V OUT (X3 and Y1). Do not mix up with the external and
internal power supplies.
• Do not connect anything to this when using the external power supply.
Y2
OUT COM. 1: Output common 1
The common terminal for each output of the I/O terminal block. X12 and Y2 are the common terminal
connected internally.
For NPN connection, this terminal is connected to the “- (minus)” side of power which is used for control. For
PNP connection, this terminal is connected to the “+ (plus)” side of power which is used for control.
For details, refer to “4-5-2 Connecting common terminals” (P.113).
Y3
24V OUT: Internal power (power for input/output) + 24V DC (max. output current 300mA)
Power to operate the laser marker independently.
X1 and Y3 are the common terminal connected internally.
ワㄐㄕㄊㄆ
• Make sure to use X3 or Y1 for the 0V of the internal power 24V OUT (X1 and Y3). Do not mix up with the
external and internal power supplies.
• Do not connect anything to this when using the external power supply.
• When using the internal power supply (X1, X3, Y1, Y3), the total current of the power supply for the external
device and the consumption current for the I/O control should be less than 300mA.
Y4
REMOTE OUT: Remote mode output
The output is ON during the remote mode.
Make sure that this terminal is turned ON and start the external control by I/O or communication commands.
Y5
READY OUT: Marking trigger ready output
When TRIGGER IN (X5) becomes acceptable (the laser radiation becomes ready), this output turns ON.
To turn on READY OUT, the following conditions are required:
• No error has occurred (Except E700 to E799)
• Not in trigger processing operation (Except the multiple triggers of on-the-fly marking)
• Laser pumping has completed
• Internal shutter is open
• The file number switching process has completed
• With the file using “registered characters via I/O” or “external offset function”, the data number and SET IN
(No.2) of I/O signals have been input.
• With the file using “characters specified by SIN command” or external offset function with “Using SEO
command”, SIN or SEO command has been sent.
• When the command reception permission (MKM command) is used, the reception permission state is
turned OFF.
Y6
LASER STANDBY OUT: Laser pumping completion output
The output is ON after the laser pumping completes and until the laser pumping turns OFF.
The output turns ON approximately 5 second after the laser pumping started (maximum 10 seconds for re-
pumping right after turning off the laser pumping).
Y7
SYSTEM STANDBY OUT: System startup completed output
After the laser marker is turned ON, the output remains turned ON during the time since the system startup
has completed until the power is turned OFF.
Output ON in approximately 10 seconds after key switch is turned ON.
