Fonts for alphanumeric characters and symbols
Initial font files:
01–05: ORG1.fon to ORG5.fon
06: OCR1.fon
07–09: ORG1S.fon to ORG3S.fon
10: ORG3-L1.fon
11: DINLIKE1-L1.fon
Font features:
ORG1, ORG3: For multipurpose letter marking
ORG2, ORG5: For marking small-sized characters
ORG4: For high-speed marking (not suitable for bold characters)
OCR1: Alphanumeric font suitable for image recognition
ORG1S to ORG3S: Same as ORG1 to ORG3 but reduced by 80%. Can be used
when alphanumeric characters and Japanese characters are used in the same
character line.
ORG3-L1: Alphanumeric font including Latin-1 (ISO/IEC 8859-1) characters based
on ORG3 font style. If you use European special characters such as À or Ä, select
this font.
DINLIKE1-L1: Alphanumeric font including Latin-1 (ISO/IEC 8859-1) characters
resembling the DIN 1451 font style. If you use European special characters such as
À or Ä, select this font.
Remarks
• Use only font files in the .fon format. Windows TrueType fonts cannot be saved as font
files in the laser marking system.
• Japanese and Simplified Chinese characters cannot be used together in one file. Select
the East Asian character set under “Marking settings” > “File settings” > “East Asian
characters”.
