15 2D code object
iQR Code
iQR Code supports both square and rectangular dimensions. The quiet zone that surrounds
the code must be at least one module wide.
This 2D code supports the following characters and modes:
• “Numeric” mode:
0–9
• “Text” mode:
0–9, A–Z, a–z, space character, symbols! " # $ % & ' ( ) * , + - . / : ;< = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ _ ` { | }
~, control characters NUL, STX, ETX, EOT, HT, LF, CR, FS, GS, RS, US, DEL
• “Byte” mode:
Any single-byte ASCII code from 00
h
to 7F
h
(0–9, A–Z, a–z, symbols, control characters)
• “Kanji” mode:
Any JIS code (JIS level 1 and JIS level 2) from 2121
h
to 7426
h
(alphanumeric characters, symbols, Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji)
Number of characters: Max. 299
Data Matrix
The supported Data Matrix version is ECC200. Format 05 and 06 defined in ISO/IEC 15434
are supported (Data Matrix macro 05 and 06).
This 2D code supports the following characters and modes:
• “Alphanumeric” character input mode:
Any single-byte ASCII code from 00
h
to 7F
h
(0–9, A–Z, a–z, symbols, control characters)
• “Kanji” character input mode:
Any JIS code (JIS level 1 and JIS level 2) from 2121
h
to 7426
h
(alphanumeric characters, symbols, Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji)
Number of characters: Max. 299
GS1 DataMatrix
The Function 1 Symbol Character FNC1 is automatically added to the front of the code data.
FNC1 is also used as a separator character between element strings (AI data). When the
element string is of predefined length, no separator character is required when another
element string is added to it. When the element string is not of predefined length, you must
use FNC1 as a separator character when another element string is added to it.
AI prefix codes can be used in the code data. They define the meaning and the format of the
data that follows.
