26.2 Show the error log
In the “Error log” tab, you can view the error log, delete all log entries or save the log entries
as TSV file.
In online mode, you will see the error log of the connected laser marking system. When you
edit a backup file in offline mode, the error log entries at the time of backup are displayed.
1. Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2. Go to the “Maintenance” screen and select “Error log”.
3. The error log shows a table of errors with the following information: date and time of
occurrence in the format YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss, type (either alarm or warning), file
number, error code, and description.
A maximum of 100 error log entries are displayed.
• To export the error log entries as TSV file select “Save as TSV”. Select the storage
location, enter a file name and save the TSV file.
• Select “Delete all” and confirm with “Yes” to delete all log entries. To delete the error
log, log in as administrator.
This function is not available when backup files are edited in offline mode.

26.3 Perform output simulation
Use the output simulation function to check the operation of external devices connected to
the laser marking system by manually changing the status of an output.
You can also use the output simulation to check the operation of external devices connected
to the laser marking system via optional network unit (EtherNet/IP or PROFINET).
When you use the output simulation, you cannot perform other operations or make any
settings in Laser Marker NAVI smart.
1. Establish an online connection between your PC and the laser marking system.
2. Go to the “Maintenance” screen and select “Output simulation” in the ribbon.
