Attention point for pallets

Use a moisture-proof separation board above and below the media.

Use a plastic strapping to band the contents of the pallet in two directions. Do not use met-
al banding.

Use carton corner protectors for the four sides of the pallet.

• The reams or cartons must not exceed the width and length of the pallet. The advised
minimum distance between the media stack and the edge of the pallet is 10 mm / 0.4".
• Use moisture-proof material to wrap the pallet.
• For ream packaging a moisture-resistant barrier is required (maximum of 12 g H
2
O / m² /
24 hours (ISO 2528)).

• Use a single pallet for one type of media.
• Use a good quality pallet so that wood splinters or nails do not damage media.

Relative humidity of packaging
When the relative humidity of the packaging deviates from the relative humidity of the storage
room or paper module paper malformations can occur. The default relative humidity of the paper
module can be set in the Settings Editor.
