2. Verify that the SCCS server is sending out the RSM stream. The procedure to 

perform this is explained on page 43.

3. Check the Multicast IP address, Multicast Port, and SCCS ServerIP address 

entered in the Nortel Remote Agent Observe BUI match those configured at the 
SCCS server. These should be initially be inspected visually in the BUI and the 
SCCS configuration page and subsequently the actual packets arriving at the 
card should be examined using the following command.

Explanation: Multicast packets seen at network interface
Error Value and Action: If zero, then no multicast packets are arriving, check 
steps 1 and 2.

MulticastCorrectArrive

Explanation: Number of packets for configured multicast port, IP address and 
server IP address that have arrived.
Error Value and Action: If zero, then no correct packets have arrived, so 
proceed to check the variables explained below.   Otherwise packets are 
arriving correctly, so no need to examine the other variables.

MulticastWrongDestIPArrive

Explanation: Multicast packets not for Nortel Remote Agent Observe 
configured multicast IP address
Error Value and Action: If a large value, indicates mismatch between SCCS 
and Nortel Remote Agent Observe configurations re multicast IP address 
configured.
