Base Radio Alarms
The table below displays the generic base radio alarms that can be listed using MMI command
get alarms

NVM memory. If the operation
of restoring

that BRC works
incorrectly. The
default values may
be different than the
lost parameter values.
To make sure the
parameters can be
restored manually to
the earlier backed up

ALM_BRC_16_8MHZ_FAIL_ALM The 16.8MHz
reference failure
- this alarm
originates from
the VCXO and
it is reported
by the interrupt
(Host IRQ4). BRC is de-keyed
by the software. The alarm will be
cleared only after
resetting BRC. The alarm may be
reported because of
the BRC hardware
failure.
ALM_BRC_16_8MHZ_FAIL
The same as ALM_BRC_16_8MHZ_FAIL_ALM
ALM_RX_LO1_LOCK Receiver
synthesizer lock
detect failure. Receiver is
disabled by
the software -
BRC is unable to
receive. If the alarm
condition
disappears then
Receiver is
re-enabled by
the software. The alarm may be
reported because of
the BRC hardware
failure or because
RX VCO is not
properly tuned (BCD
NVM parameters
con
fi
guration).
ALM_RX_SYNTH_LD_FAIL Reported when ALM_RX_LO1_LOCK is set and
ALM_BRC_16_8MHZ_FAIL_ALM is cleared
ALM_RX_LO1_SL
Receiver
synthesizer
steering line
failure. Receiver is
disabled by
the software -
BRC is unable to
receive. If the alarm
