4.7. Method of draining water from gas cooler

If the heat pump water heater is left without power source in winter, water in the gas cooler may freeze, damaging the heat

deemergesed for long time.

(1) Products produced before November 2013

1) Close the valves at the hot water supply and the water supply pipe sides.

2) Remove the service panels both at the front and the rear.

Following instructions are based on a test unit equipped with the water piping only, to show better the relative positions of

pipes and drain valves.
