4.5 Disassemble and reassemble method
(1) Compressor Replacement Procedure
(a) Purge CO
2
refrigerant
Connect the charge hoses to the service valves and purge CO
refrigerant.
(It is available to purge CO in the air)
N ote : If purging refrigerant rapidly, the refrigerant may
become frozen inside of service valve and cannot be
purged.
In addition, refrigerant oil may also be purged.
Therefore, be sure to purge the refrigerant through a
proper adjustment.
N ote : Be sure to check E E V fully opened.

Top insulation
Bottom insulation
Middle insulation
(b) Before dismounting compressor
1) Remove insulation jacket from compressor
Remove the middle and bottom insulation from left
side of compressor.
then middle insulation sequentially
2) Remove the insulation of discharge piping
Be sure to remove the insulation neatly with consideration
for reuse.
And remove it up to the position not to be burnt by
brazing work.
