Leakage Test
For low flow rate CO
2
module, leakage test is needed every year or when you suspect the
measurement.
Follow this procedure to perform the test:
1.
Wait until CO
2
warmup is finished and then use your hand or other objects to
completely block the gas inlet of the mini water trap.
The alarm message [
CO2 FilterLine Occluded
] is displayed on the screen after
certain time.
2.
Block the gas inlet for another 30 seconds.
If the alarm message does not disappear, it indicates that the module does not leak.

Accuracy Test
For the CO
2
module, accuracy test is needed every year or when you suspect the
measurement.
Tools required:
A steel gas cylinder with 5±0.03% CO
2
and
balance
gas N

T-shape connector

Follow this procedure to perform the test:

Wait until the CO

module warmup is finished, and check the airway for leakage and
perform a leakage test as well to make sure the airway has no leakage.
