4.9 Adjusting the Sensitivity
Whle the temperature level settng determnes the span of temperature dsplayed on
the screen wthn the overall temperature
range, the level of sensitivity determines the
nstrument’s ablty to resolve adjacent areas of dfferent temperature wthn the overall
scene.
Snce only a small porton of the whole temperature
range is used for viewing, it is often
necessary to ncrease or decrease the ntervals of the temperature scale by adjustng the
senstvty level.
To adjust the sensitivity:
1) Follow steps 1-5 for Setting the L&S (See Section 3.9.4.2 of this
manual).
In step 5 of Setting the L&S, be sure to select
[LeVeL &
SenSItIVIty]
.

2) Toggle the
jOyStICK
to the right to increase the intervals of the
temperature scale.

Toggle the
jOyStICK
to the left to decrease the intervals of the
temperature scale.
