4.2 Using the Power Standby Mode
The nstrument can be placed n Power Standby mode to conserve battery power and to
elmnate detector stablzaton tme when makng ntermttent measurements.
4.2.1 Working with the Power Standby ON Function
1) If using the Standard Type Menu, go to
[MENU]
→
[SETUP]
→
[STANDBY NOw]

2) Press the
jOyStICK [e]
button to place the camera in Standby
Mode
.
The screen will darken and the Power On LED will flash
approxmately every 2 seconds. If the battery power s depleted
while in Standby mode, the Power LED will flash rapidly.
3) Press any key to cancel the standby mode and to return to normal
operation.
The nstrument wll go through the system check and normal
operaton wll resume after approxmately 20 seconds.
