MANUAL BRUSH-CLEANING
Important! This procedure must be completed every
2 weeks.
To disassemble the Model C602, the following items will
be needed:
•
Two cleaning and sanitizing pails for each side
of the freezer
•
Cleaning brushes (provided with freezer)
•
SolidSense™ All Purpose Super Concentrate
(APSC) (HCS)
•
KAY-5
®
Sanitizer (HCS)
•
Clean, sanitized towels
•
Parts trays
Draining Product from the Freezing Cylinder
To drain the product from the freezing cylinders on both
sides of the machine, the steps will be the same.
Therefore, first drain the product from the shake side,
then go back and duplicate these procedures for the soft
serve side.
1. Place the Heater Topping switches in the OFF
position by pressing the Heater symbols
. The
symbols will not be illuminated when the heaters are
off.
2. Cancel automatic operation by pressing the Auto
symbol

Shake Side Only:
Remove the shake cup holder.
Set it aside for cleaning later with all parts.
4. Remove the hopper cover and agitator. Take these
parts to the sink to wash, rinse, and sanitize.
5. With a pail beneath the door spout, press the Wash
and Mix Pump symbols
and open the draw
valve.
Note:
Shake Side: Press any flavor selection
symbol to open the draw valve.
6. Drain the product from the freezing cylinder and the
mix hopper. (See Figure-98)

7. When the flow of product stops, press the Wash and
Mix Pump symbols
, canceling the Wash and
Mix Pump modes. The shake draw valve will
automatically close when the Wash operation is
canceled.
