Here's how to clean the machine:
Suck up the dirt.
Use a brush for hard-to-reach areas.
Wipe down the surfaces using a dry cloth.
Do not use any chemically aggressive washing and cleansing agents!
The machine is clean.

Here's how to proceed to clean the optical sensors.
Prerequisites
These prerequisites must be fulfilled:
• Main switch is switched off and secured.
• EMERGENCY STOP palm button is pressed.
Cleaning the optical
sensors
Here's how to clean the optical sensors:
Clean the optical elements of the sensors with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Optical sensors are clean.
•
Clean the machine at least once per week.
•
The dust layer must never exceed 1 mm (0.039 in.).
•
Never clean the machine using compressed air. (bearing damage)
•
Heavy contamination can impair the functioning of the machine.
The optical elements of the print mark sensor are blown out with com-
pressed air during operation.
•
The optical sensors of the machine get dirty during production due to
paper dust and printing powder.
•
They should therefore be cleaned after each job (daily).
