Encrypt & Decrypt Data

You can encrypt the data in your phone and the SD card installed in your phone. You need to
enter the PIN, pattern, or password for the screen lock for the operation. To set up a PIN,
pattern, or password, see

Screen Lock

.

Warning:

Refrain from using the phone, including removing the battery and the SD card,
during the encryption and decryption processes as some or all of your data will
be lost if the encryption and decryption processes are interrupted.
