5.1 Printing from External Devices
The procedure for carrying out a check to ensure that print jobs sent from external devices can be
successfully printed is described below.

Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the
Ethernet port (RJ45) at the back of DRYPRO
793.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the
facility hub.
- A hub with auto-negotiation capabilities as a
110BASE-TX hub is recommended. The facility
network administrator should be consulted for
details.
- If using 100BASE-T, CAT5 or CAT6 LAN cable
should be used.

Send the queue from the external device and
check printing.
- If any problem arises, repeat the necessary
DRYPRO 793 setup procedures in accordance with
the section dealing with troubleshooting in the
service manual.
- If printing of the job sent from the external device
is successful, proceed to step-3.

Secure the Ethernet cable to the back of
DRYPRO 793 with two clamp accessories giving
due consideration to the place where the device
is installed.
