Insert the rear (far) edge of the package firmly
between the hold down plate and the winding
shaft spindle.

Ensure the front (near) edge protrudes from the
shutter and firmly close the shutter.
Do not touch the knob on the shutter.
Doing so my expose the film.

Take the cutter out of the cutter pocket.

Cut off the protruding front edge of the package.
