1) Invoke the menu mode by touching the menu key.
2) log-into the service maintenance mode using
service privilege.
3) Touch the [SERVICE 2] button.
- The service settings screen will be displayed.
4) Touch the [PRODUCT SETUP] button.
- The product setting screen (1/6) will be
displayed.
5) Touch the [>] button at the bottom left.
- The next product setup screen (2/6) will be
displayed.

4.4.3 Making Adjustments of Write Start Position in the Sub-
Scan Direction (Vertical)
The procedure for making adjustments in the sub-scan direction is described below.

Turn the pattern so that the word "FRAME" can
be correctly seen and use a ruler to measure the
length of the unexposed margin at the top edge
of the frame pattern.
- No adjustments to the write start position are
necessary if the length of the unexposed margin is
2mm or less. Proceed to Chapter Five: Printing
from and Backup of External Devices.
- If the length of the unexposed margin is greater
than 2mm, adjustments must be made to the write
start position.
