(3) Installing the needle cooler pipe (asm.)
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine� be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.
) Install needle cooler ppe (asm.)

2) Adjust so that the top end of the needle cooler ppe faces to the needle hole whch s located 0 mm below from the
upper dead poston of the needle bar.
3) Pass ar hose

of the needle cooler ppe through the hole A n the table and connect t to the speed controller.
After installing the needle cooler pipe� make sure of the following matters.
1. Turn the handwheel by hand and check that the needle does not interfere with the pipe.
2. Check that the presser foot does not interfere with the pipe when the presser foot gets over the
overlapped section.
(4) Adjusting the speed controller
) Loosen lock nut

and turn knob

to adjust the ar
pressure for needle cooler.
Adjust the ar pressure to such an extent that sewng s
not affected.
After the adjustment� be sure to tighten
lock nut

.
The knob has been turned back by 4.5 times
from full closing at the time of delivery.
When the air pressure is too low� there is
no effect of needle cooling. When the air
pressure is too high� thread slips off the
needle at the start of sewing or sewing
performance is not stabilized.
