Calibrating for Increased Measurement Accuracy
Calibration Kits
Calibration Kits
When performing some user-defined calibrations, you must select a
calibration kit to match the port(s) at your calibration reference plane. A
user two-port calibration requires you to select a calibration kit for each
port. One-port calibrations, such as user one-port, and enhanced
response, require you to select a calibration kit for only one port. Refer to
“The Calibration Reference Plane” on page 6-7
.
Selecting a Calibration Kit Stored in the
Analyzer
To select a calibration kit, press
and use
the front panel knob or the up and down keys to highlight the desired
port in the display’s table. Next, select the softkey for the connector type
of your port, or press
and select the softkey for one of
ten user-defined calibration kits (User Cal Kit A–J).
