Saving and Recalling Measurement Results
NOTE
Special Note for Owners of Older Model Analyzers
(HP 8711A, HP 8711B/12B/13B/14B, HP 8711C/12C/13C/14C)
If you own one of these older model analyzers, there are some
compatibility issues you should be aware of:
• The "A" and "B" model analyzers allowed you to save to a LIF
formatted floppy disk. The “C” and the new "E" model analyzers allow
you to read from a LIF disk, but you cannot save to a LIF disk.
• The file format for the "A" and "B" model analyzers is different from
the “C” and the new "E" model format. When saving data, you can
save it either in a format that is compatible with older analyzers
(
), (
), or in a
format that is only compatible with "E" analyzers
(
). See
“Define and Save Data” on page 4-58
for more information.
