7.2 Hydraulic installation
Caution
Risk of injury as a result of incorrect handling.
Hydraulic installation must be carried out by trained
specialists only !
Working medium lines
The heat pump contains all of the required fittings and has
been tested for leak tightness. Pipe connections are located
on the outside of the casing. The expansion valve is installed
in the RoofVent
®
roof unit.
■
Have the pipework from the heating/cooling unit to the
combi box and from the RoofVent
®
roof unit to the expan-
sion valve and to the heat pump installed by a refrigera-
tion specialist.
■
Use refrigerant-proof copper pipes.
■
Check that the pipework is leak-tight.
■
Insulate the pipework.
■
Top up with refrigerant, depending on the total length of
the liquid line.
Condensate drain
Dimension the slope and cross-section of the condensate
line so that no condensate backflow takes place.
