1. Make sure the printer is in its “Ready”
state. Open the front cover all the way
until it stops.
Note: Remove any printouts from the
top output tray before opening the cover.
Do not touch any internal components of
the printer.
2. Grasp the old toner cartridge and slowly
pull it out of the printer.
Dispose of the old toner cartridge
properly.
Caution: Never dispose of the toner
cartridge in fire. Remaining toner in the
cartridge could explode, causing risk of
injury.
3. Remove the new toner cartridge from its
foil wrapper and pull out the protective
paper from under the drum shutter.
Shake the toner from side to side several
times as shown to distribute the toner.
