FliteCharts
®
FliteCharts ® resemble the paper version of AeroNav Services terminal procedures
charts. The charts are displayed with high-resolution and in color for applicable
charts. The MFD depiction shows the aircraft position on the moving map in the plan
view of most approach charts and on airport diagrams.
The FliteCharts database contains procedure charts for the United States only.
This database is updated on a 28-day cycle. If not updated within 180 days of the
expiration date, FliteCharts will no longer function.
Selecting Terminal Procedures Charts:
While viewing the Navigation Map Page, Nearest Airport Page, or Flight
Plan Page, select the
Charts Softkey.
Or :
1)
Press the
MENU
Key to display the Page Menu.
2)
Turn the large
FMS
Knob to scroll through the Options Menu to Charts.
3)
Press the ENT Key to display the chart.
Selecting Additional Information:
1) While viewing the Airport Taxi Diagram, select the WX Softkey to display
the information windows (AIRPORT, INFO).
2) Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor.
3) Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the INFO Box.
4)
Turn the small
FMS
Knob to select the INFO Box choices. When the INFO
Box is selected the G1000NXi softkeys are blank. If multiple choices are
available, scroll to the desired choice with the large
FMS Knob and press
the
ENT
Key to complete the selection.
5)
Press the FMS Knob again to deactivate the cursor.
Selecting full screen On or Off:
1) While viewing a terminal chart press the MENU Key to display the Page
Menu OPTIONS.
2)
Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the Chart Setup Menu Option and
press the
ENT
Key.
