To acquire an image in M-Mode

To begin acquisition in M-Mode, tap the M-Mode button, then tap the

Start

flyout; once acquisition begins, the button flyout will change to

Stop

To end an M-Mode acquisition, you can tap

Freeze

or tap the M-Mode

Stop

button

flyout. M-Mode acquisition stops, the button flyout will change to

Start

and the

system will begin 2D acquisition with the green M-Mode sample gate.

M-Mode

The system begins acquiring 2D image data while displaying the green M-Mode
sample gate on the 2D image.

Position the sample gate and adjust the size. See
