Factory Calibrated Analog Gains
The cam era has a factory calibrated analog gain settin g. Ad ju stm ent of analog gain is not
available to the u ser, how ever. Digital gain is available via the set system gain com m and
(
ssg)
.
Subtracting Background
Pu rp ose:
Use the backgrou nd su btract com m and if you w ant to im p rove
you r im age in a low contrast scene. This com m and is u sefu l for
system s that p rocess 8 bit d ata bu t w ant to take ad vantage of the
camera‘s 10 bit d igital processing chain. You should try to make
you r d arkest p ixel in the scene equ al to zero.

On the m onochrom e m od el, u se the ‗all tap ‘ setting (
