3.7.4 Performing FPN Calibration
Calibrating All Camera Pixels
Pu rp ose:
Perform s FPN calibration and elim inates FPN noise by su btracting
aw ay ind ivid u al p ixel d ark cu rrent.
Syntax:

N otes:
Before p erform ing this com m and , stop all light from entering
the cam era. (Tip : cover lens w ith a lens cap .)
The goal is to su btract all non -u niform ities and offsets in ord er
to obtain a 0DN ou tp u t in the d ark . Analog offset shou ld
therefore be set to 0 since it gets su btracted ou t d u ring CCF.
Set the d igital gain (
ssg
) to X1 since d u ring calibration it gets
forced to X1 (
ssg
0 4096).
Perform FPN correction before PRN U correction.
The
ccf
com m and is not available w hen the cam era is u sing the
factory calibrated coefficients (
csn 0-2
). You m u st select the
u ser coefficient set (
csn 3-5
) before you can p erform FPN
calibration. An error m essage is retu rned if you attem p t to
p erform FPN calibration w hen u sing
