Align the Aspen AC power cord retaining bracket over the AC power cord end(s) as shown in
Figure 88
.

Tighten all captive screws, located in the middle and on each end of the Aspen AC power cord
retaining bracket, using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

Connect the other end of the AC power cord(s) into the power source. This powers the system on.
NOTE
Leave the ESD-preventive wrist strap permanently connected to the chassis so that it is always available when you
need to touch ESD-sensitive components.
Removing the Aspen 8810 AC Power Cord Retaining
Bracket
Follow these steps to ensure proper removal of the Aspen 8810 AC power cord retaining bracket:

Attach the ESD-preventive wrist strap, that is provided, to your wrist and connect the metal end of
the ESD-preventive wrist strap to the ground receptacle located on the top-left corner of the Aspen
chassis front panel.

Disconnect all AC power cords from the power source.

Loosen all captive screws, located in the middle and on each end of the Aspen AC power cord
retaining bracket, using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the Aspen AC power cord retaining bracket from the front of the Aspen chassis.

Remove the end of the AC power cord(s) from the power outlet(s) on front of the Aspen chassis.
NOTE
Leave the ESD-preventive wrist strap permanently connected to the chassis so that it is always available when you
need to touch ESD-sensitive components.
